Tom Cruise is just a half a notch below Brad Pitt with me. I love most of his movies.

Saw this today. It was as good as I'd hoped. Classic MI. Crazy stunts, and minimal annoying CGI. The female lead was pretty awesome too.

Do we agree that the first one is the best one?

I'm going to watch number 2 and three tonight though just to remind myself

I always thought that the first one felt like the series was just trying to find its feet - the second jumped the shark and was a mess and 3 onwards were really good....including the latest

The first was the best. The second, the worst. The others have all ranged from good to great action flicks.

man alive 2 is dumb.

The first 1 was a nice slow burn puzzle piece thriller I feel and 2 is just.....dumb.

That is probably what turned me off the rest of the series.

Did the motorbike have road, or off-road tyres?

The first one is a classic and much better than the crappy 2 and the mediocre 3 and 4. I really hope to love 5, though.

Loathed didn't like #2 either? Is there finally something universally hated on RM?
