Lament's Uniform Aesthetics Thread...

I feel like the Yankees, Red Sox, Cardinals, Tigers etc. are so classic that it's kind of like how none of us include Omar when we rank our favorite Wire characters.

The branding on the side of the '47 caps bugs me. My only hat is from "The Franchise" (what 47 used to be), and it doesn't have any of that. It's also 100% cotton, which doesn't seem to be the case anymore for most of the '47 caps I've seen. Which also bugs me.

I agree they were better before 47 took over, but it's still the best hat out there.

I liked when they used a "DC" logo. The logo itself could use some tweaking, but no other DC team has "DC" on their logos, it's all "Washington". I'd love to see the "DC" brand appears on the other franchise's uniforms.

I can't believe no team (outside of soccer) uses "DC." Everyone who lives up there refers to it as DC. I spent five years living in the region and never once heard anyone use "Washington" outside of team names.

I liked when they had that "Turn Ahead the Clock" promotion in the late 90s and presented the Yankees with their "2021 uniforms" that the Yankees told MLB "We're already wearing what we'll be wearing in 2021" and ignored the promotion.
