Mad Season with Chris Cornell and a symphony on Jan 30th

When a band is but a fraction of Pearl Jam, but they aren't zero Pearl Jam.

Now we're at true classic B. Doesnt take much, does it?
I mean... I can't. I can't even... I don't know what to do anymore...

Just be with it. Dont fight it. Feel it. Let it come through you and light you up, pull you down. Then be with it and let it go.
I bet you're a really great yoga instructor.

Im just going to point to my groin now and tell them to not be stupid.

For whatever reason this won't embed. But... it's a five minute mini-doc on Mad Season - Live at the Moore:

:nice:

Thanks. Have no idea why that wouldn't work. I've posted dozens and dozens of those things in the past. *shrugs*

Sometimes I've found if you click one of the windows on the right side of the youtube screen that address won't work on RM but if you type the title into the search and click on it from there it gives you an address that works. I know what I'm trying to say and that sentence still doesn't make any sense.

That address you tried won't embed but if you just use the yt ID (Nuo62nQOpFo) and use the yt code it'll work. Sarge would be able to explain it but it's something to do with the end tag. You'll have to quote the below to see the difference.
Spoiler: show

VS

or as a yt code

It works well on my mobile. Never could embed stuff before Sarge created that code.

I miss that bastard.

I could go on a lengthy rant here, however, in brief: the [yt] code operates the same way as the YouTube code always had on the previous board.

I was a bit sceptical about this but the performance snippets I've seen with Cornell sound really decent and faithful to the originals.

I think this turned out nicely. Cornell's voice works for everything but I Don't Know Anything, in my opinion.

But the other two vocalists were great and TotD sounds great.

My wife's take on the opening song, Waking the Horizon ... "What the fuck is this? You're gonna put me to sleep."
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

Just listening to this now and it's pretty cool.

Shame they cut out all the between song chat as there's no context or details about who's on stage performing for any given song.
