There's a million people out there building with old/recycled wood and a lot of the ideas are amazing but most of it is very repetitive and generic. I keep trying to do obvious stuff but in a different way.
Need to find out how to market it and then get customers.

I got this shot but it's lousy. This was a wall display for shoes and hand bags etc. Next time I'll snap a shot of the jewelry wall. Didn't want to get caught during my espionage. ;-)

That's cool thanks for the pic. Sadly those wine crates are impossible to get here. I'd love to get some.

Yeah, probably faster to just gather them than build them.

Doing the kitchen floor in pennies. Got my maths and timeframes completely wrong.
This is gonna take forever and cost 5 times more than I thought. Hope it's worth it.

Thanks. Though I'm being told that this is gonna go disastrously wrong cos I glued them straight into lino and I should have torn that up first and worked from the concrete underneath. Stupid rookie mistake. Not sure if I should continue or tear itup and start again.

I'd tear it up and do it right, if I were in your shoes. I wouldn't want to have any regrets with it.

Tore it all up yesterday. Feel really defeated about it. Irony is it was like removing concrete. Ah well.

That's cool:)

Here's my entry for a pallet to product design competition. Hope I get picked for it. Winning it would be pie in the sky but even to get selected as a finalist, would be great.

In July. I'll find out tomorrow if I've got a place or not. Fingers crossed.
