That I don't think the Bulls should be held accountable when they pull this stuff? The point I am making is that there are times where it has been pretty obvious the Heat are held to a different standard.
Are you a Heat fan, Peeps? I know pre 2010 there were only about 670 of them but I'm just curious.
You mad bro?
actually im a fan of basketball with the lakers being my team of choice (started back in 84ish when my father moved out to huntington beach).
the point i am subtly trying to make is your team got all the calls etc for about 10 years straight when mikey was playing and now you see how other teams felt when they got jobbed of calls or obvious penalties.
you're fucking annoying in your homerism and it shows with each and every post you make during this series
Thibs continued comments about "we're not going to get the calls and that's the reality" is nonsense. There were a couple bad calls in both directions in game 3. An over the back on Noah and a reach in on Butler were especially egregious. There were also 2 blatant charges that Battier drew that he got whistled for, and ultimately fouled out on. I know Thibs is just saying that in hopes of getting into the refs head, so I don't blame him for it, but anybody who believes him is delusional.
I'm not saying Thibs wanted Muhammed to come in and get thrown out. But I do think that they have been told to make every foul count to try to disorient the Heat, distract them, get them mad, etc. I don't mean cheap stuff, but like in that win streak game they fouled LeBron hard throughout the game and it pissed him off. They want to do that again. FTR I don't particularly blame them.
Also, I think we're using the term "flop" waaaaaaay too broadly if what LeBron did was a flop. A big dude shoved him with 2 hands as hard as he could while LeBron wasn't looking no less. Yeah, he sold it and maybe the slide on the floor was a bit more than it needed to be, but it wasn't anymore of a flop than Noah in game 2 when Norris Cole pushed him and Noah did the same thing. (A flop is what LeBron did a couple years ago against the Bulls, remember that play when somebody barely laid a finger on him and he reacted like he got shot then got up and winked? I know you do. THAT was a flop. I hated that play and plays like that.) But a guy getting hit legitimately who decides to sell it really isn't the same thing. One is grand theft the other is shoplifting at worse. Big difference.

I'm not a fan of questioning people's fandom. I mean basically people choose their teams based on their location, who their dad likes or whoever is winning when they are a kid. All valid.

i live in pittsburgh, my dad moved to so cal in 83-84. he would send back new paper clippings so i latched on. didnt follow basketball at all until then. if that seems bogus to others that is their problem not mine.
i do admire the heat for the three of them coming together and saying we want to play together and this is how we can go about it. the players took the choice of where they would play out of the GM/Owners hands which is never a bad thing.
i want to say around 88-90 or so there were a whole bunch of free agents. mike, reggie, zo, juwan howard and a few others who i thought should all take a million bucks and go play for the bucks and win a few titles. that would have been awesome

Imagine telling a kid today the best way to get info on their team is to snail-mail newspaper clipping cross country. Things sure have changed in 20 years.
Also, Mario Chalmers is not helping convince the Heat to pick up his option next year, especially with their cap issues. Coles has had a nice few games here albeit against Nate Robinson.

my 'fucking homerism' creates some banter in this thread. I see your point, but Lebron never had to deal with the Jordan Rules.

Mike didn't need to do that (even more awesome)
Wasn't my quote.
Yeah, I messed up that edit. My fault. That was a Peeps line everybody.
