Coming at it from the opposite side as someone who totally loves hip-hop, Kanye just isn't as interesting as guys like El-P, Kendrick and Danny Brown, for me at least. I like his music but it doesn't have the depth of some other rappers. I still just don't get why he's the one people write 1,000 word essays on. Has always baffled me a little.

Monster was the other Kanye song played at my sister's wedding. Somebody from her husband's side of invitees complained to the DJ about how offensive it was, and my sister told him off. It was probably the most proud I've ever been of her.
