As this year proved, the Steelers have an excellent track record of getting in, so it shouldn't surprise anyone that they're trying. I expect the Polamalu talk to pick up as well.Peeps wrote:a piece of my soul gets destroyed when i hear local raido proclaiming hines ward is a HOF'er

i am ok with troy being talked about. he has had very stellar career and while his numbers may not be the best it cant be disputed what he did while he was out there.Green Habit wrote:As this year proved, the Steelers have an excellent track record of getting in, so it shouldn't surprise anyone that they're trying. i would think faneca would be the only other steeler out there that an argument should be made for.

if last season's beefed up stats continue, big ben could sneak into the discussion with 2 SBs already notched.Peeps wrote:i am ok with troy being talked about. he has had very stellar career and while his numbers may not be the best it cant be disputed what he did while he was out there.Green Habit wrote:As this year proved, the Steelers have an excellent track record of getting in, so it shouldn't surprise anyone that they're trying. yea, thats a crazy picture there considering how big he was.
i think ben makes one more superbowl or has two more seasons where his stats flourish he is in for conversation. 2-1 in SBs and his nack for big plays really helps.
though that bit of favre that allows him to extend plays drives me insane because he waits too long and takes a sack/fumble/int
whats a guy to do though, live by the sword die by it

I thought this thread was going to be about the best second banana on a team of all time. I'm more interested in that conversation.
