It's bad enough that R2 and 3PO made it through both trilogies without anyone questioning "why are these two droids always in the middle of massive, universe-altering events", but it would be a shame if Kasdan falls back on a tired storytelling crutch... or phrases for that matter:

"I've got a bad feeling about this"
"Delusions of grandeur"
" love you/I know"
"We're doomed"
Those phrases will definitely be said at some point in this new trilogy.

Didn't the article also hint that it might be the son of an old luke enemy or something?

They don't stand a chance against us, Pete.
Imagine how fun it would be to sit on a rooftop and shoot paintballs at a bunch of RMers.
Who would you go for first?
This deserves its own thread.

The only time Rebels got left behind was on Hoth, right? My guess it would be tied to that battle.

Avoid images of the new toys if you want to remain spoiler-free; the existence of one includes a character that hasn't been announced as in the new film. Don't click the following link! You've been warned.

Not necessarily. I mean, he fought his way out of the sarlaac in the EU, I don't see why he can't in the new canon.

This may be nothing, though, as there's a new Vader figure in the set as well. But there have been some rumors that there could be flashbacks including him...

There is a Vader flashback. No one died in EU. That's why it sucked. I mean Darth Maul lived in the EU too.

A whole bunch of toys leaked.
http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/ ... /?a=124324

Still no toys for Han, Luke, or Leia. I don't know if that's a message, or an oversight, or proof that this stuff is fake or what.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?
