Fight the Power / The Public Enemy Thread

Post by Lament »

Public Enemy deserves their own thread, instead of just being discussed in the Yeezy thread.

New album is probably their best since Apocalypse 91. So fucking good.

I'd post a video here, but for some reason I can't anymore.

Don't believe the hype.

Kidding. They are very good.

Start with It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back.

Fear of a Black Planet is the best one. But start with It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back and work your way through Nation-Black Planet-Apocalypse 91 to get a real appreciation.

My top five (at the moment) would be...

1. Fear of a Black Planet
2. It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back
3. Apocalypse 91
4. Man Laughs God Plans
5. There's a Poison Goin' On

Listen to the greatest hits album and if you like what you hear dive in. You'll like what you hear.
