We could just let everyone pick their own random subset of players. Skitch wants guys named dave. I'd take black people with less than 100 career homeruns.

we should come up with 10 bizarre criteria and then do a random draw to see who gets which one.

Black Guys with less than 100 HR
Guys on 7 teams or more
Only Players accused of felonies
Players described only as gritty
Chicago Cubs players who won titles in other cities
Mustaches!
Worst All Stars
Players who did a lot of drugs (non-PED's)

Live ball and then all time.

Right now (and this is very loose), I'm thinking we do All-Time Franchise 2015 in October (once the 2015 stats are added to the site), then we'll do the Live Ball Era (probably in February). Then we'll have a mini-tournament with the four Era champions. Then we'll do an All-Time Tournament (probably in June) where everybody assembles a team consisting of players from any of their Era Tournament teams. That should bring us to All-Time Franchise 2016.

Considering I go to the CWS just about every year that could be a pretty stellar. Avila would be on it.
