I put Ten > Binaural on pretty equal footing. RA wasn't that far off from the top 6, but after that

I regret my hastily put together point allocation.

in fairness, it was ranked higher than all the shitty and mediocre albums. I think it's safe to say we are in good-great territory now.

I'm surprised it still placed so poorly. With a sample of 33 it seems like that enthusiastic of a vote from one person would have really made a difference.

I ranked Vs. 7th and gave it 8 points.

For a time Vs. was my favorite pearl jam album. A lot of it hasn't aged super well, or I've just played it out. But the best stuff on Vs. is just absolutely fantastic.

There's a lot of great stuff on Vs., but there are a few stinkers for sure. Leash, Glorified G and W.M.A. are fucking dreadful. I put it at the top of the second tier.

I'd probably put it higher, but PJ's first decade is so uniformly great I can't really debate the placement.

Guys, when Binaural finishes ahead of Ten I'm going to be really disappointed in you.

I had Vs a reluctant 5th with 13pts, but only 2pts behind my top. There are so many top tier songs on this: plus it just sounds FIERCE:

Go
Animal
Daughter
Rearviewmirror
Indifference

that's a top 6 that will stack against any record, including Ten and Vitalogy

Yes you did, and I did record your score correctly, so all the averages are correct. I must have missed it when I glanced through the scores looking for the second highest.

Man I used to love Indifference so much...and then I saw it live...with the lights on...and that song has just never been the same for me.

I'm usually so exhausted and spent at that point that it feels pretty powerful, even with the lights on. It's the studio version I'm kind of over, even though it's still a great song.

After listening to Atlanta '94 I was reminded how much I like "WMA" -- it was my first favorite song on the album besides "Daughter," and after so many years of live bootlegs you forget how much goes on in the song beyond the redux version used in the "Daughter" tag.
