Agreed. Some things you can't go low fat/fate free on. That is one of them.

i had the low fat last time, and it wasn't too awful, but I got greedy with this one and paid the price.

sourdough bread. Today, I went to the bakery to buy a loaf of sourdough bread. It's a relatively new bakery, and I hadn't been there before. I asked the baker what she had, she described whatever, I picked one, and we walked over to the register area to pay. Then she tells me that if I come at the end of the day, the bread is two for one. It was only like one in the afternoon, so I just said "Oh, ok, great." For some unknown reason, she decided to give me the bread for half-price. And then as I'm leaving she tells me to wait, and gives me a big bag of these crouton-thingies. That was a lot of food for three dollars.

Bread is something I've found is worth the extra two or three bucks every week or two to get the good stuff.

We get a loaf of sweet Russian rye from our local bakery every couple of weeks. Just add butter. It's sooooo good.
