Team Kaius. Cereals like Cheerios and Cap'n Crunch are known for tearing up mouths.

Cheerios are not nearly as rough as captain crunch. If his mouth is getting torn up by cheerios he has bigger problems

Put a spoonful of milky Cheerios on your tongue and rub them against the roof of your mouth and then tell me it felt lubricated.

Re: Food Allergies
Honey Nut Cheerios has a coating on it that makes it less malleable.
Which is more logical: That the texture of the cereal is hurting the roof of his mouth or he finds out at the age of 30 (or whatever) that he's allergic to the tiny amount of honey that's in his cereal?
Also, suck my dick.
