The weird thing is, the banana stand phrase, while quotable, is probably not one of the top 10 things I would even list from the show. I dont even think of it as a joke. I get where d,t is coming from though, the harping on the chicken dance thing people do bugs me a bit, although it works in the show still.

The trick, I've found, is to have a healthy amount of disdain for all people, everywhere. That way, not only are they too far below your radar to ever affect you in any lasting way, but most of the time you don't know what they like or feel, anyway.

My wife actually asked me last night if I'm going to take off of work the day the new episodes are released. Fortunately it's a Sunday so I won't have to. I told her not to expect me to do anything that day, though.
