played Super Mario 3D world on a whim this weekend. What a fantastic game.

I've been going back and playing every 2D Mario game in anticipation of Mario Maker. I kind of want to skip them all and play 3D World again.

I like that you're skipping Mario 64 because it sucks.

It was the first great 3D game.

I hate it so much.

It hasn't aged that gracefully, but it's hard not to love. Did you hate it when it first came out too?

yes, but I didn't have an n64 so I only played it at my friends place

You crazy Chud, Mario 64 is one of the most important console games ever made. The crude graphics don't hold up, but the gameplay is still rock solid. Look at how many 3d platformers of that era tried to match it and failed. That being said, I prefer the two Mario galaxies over it.

I just didn't like playing it.

I enjoy it, but don't like the coin aspect. Do you have all of the DLCs? They make it a little more enjoyable. Some nice courses in the DLCs.

Picked up Splatoon over the weekend. A lot of fun. Still getting used to the controls, but the online aspect is great.

My brother has been pressuring me to finally play some Zelda. I've been looking into getting Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask, but there's no way I'm paying the prices online. Wish these were more easily available.

The only way to play Ocarina is with an actual N64. My stepson and I just played through it about a year ago. Possibly the best game of all time.
