All five songs are an improvement on Bayleaf.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

I have to say Battle Cry is the first one of the songs to really spark my interest. I'm really digging it

I do really like Battle Cry, but I feel like the vocals are too loud.

if they ever announce this fall tour, and if there are any Carolina shows, we will listen to it in the parking lot before the show and see if we can get it to click for youB wrote:Oh, how I've tried. Re: Moonlander - Stone Gossard
I think I'm definitely a fan of the other instrumentation on this album, especially the clarinet or oboe. Stone's voice doesn't pair well with rock music, IMHO, but it goes great with this kind of folksy, bluesy music.

No, these are pretty straightforward rock songs. Except maybe "Your Flames".
