Re: MLB
How can someone hate the Cardinals? Really though? They are nothing like the Yankees other having a long history of mostly winning games. The fans fill up the stadium even in bad years and they don't get a ton of publicity. Their squads are always built on young well rounded guys like Carpenter and Grichuk around tough, key veterans like Molina and Holliday, and their pitching staff has put together one of the better seasons in recent memory after losing it's ace.
Is it just a "hate them because they win a lot of division titles" thing?

He has had a down year no doubt. Came off the DL way too early. Has had a lot of big (dare I say clutch?) hits this year but not your typical Beltre year.cutuphalfdead wrote:How disappointing has Beltre been thins year?

Re: MLB
The teams I'll pull for in absence of the White Sox generally goes vaguely like this...
1. Giants
2. Brewers
3. Pirates
4. Cardinals
5. Mets
None of that is set in stone, and I'll usually pull for players/managers I like once the Sox are out of contention. There's probably a good chance I'll be pulling for the Blue Jays this year on account of Mark Buehrle.

I just want some answers. Red Sox, Dodgers, and Yankees fans are all on another level wen it come to fa base douchebaggery, yet it seems like people want to lump the Cards in with them just because, "hey look, they win a lot too...douchebags!"cutuphalfdead wrote:Feud: onKaius wrote:Chud, you have the reading comprehension of a fucking infant.

The Texas Longhorns overall have the worst fan base I have ever come across. But I have met some super nice Horns fans. Case by case basis I'd say.
