Well, he's got 29 Ks over his last two starts. 14 Ks and he'll be the first pitcher since Pedro in 2001 to have three straight 14 K games.

For real. Left Lewis in too long and Patton has no business being on a big league roster. Let alone an AL team in a hitters park. Eeeesh.

But i imagine we should be able to get some decent returns for Price, Soria and Cespedes, and I think guys like Simon and Avila could have some value to contending teams.
I don't take much pleasure in asking this because I so desperately wanted things to be different, but are you finally ready to admit that the Verlander contract extension was horrible?

I have some concerns
ha. i'm sure i speak for us both in hoping those concerns are short lived.

The Rangers just challenged a play down 12-4 in the top of the 9th. Shoot me please. Instant replay sucks.

In the end it got the game over with a bit faster... so that helps.

The jays (688) have a chance to get to 700 runs scored before anyone else gets to 600 (Yankees have 589).

Five plate appearances, two hits and three walks for DeLino DeShields today. Loving this kid in the leadoff spot.

Looks like Rodon is starting to figure out this major league baseball thing.

I am just blown away by his patience at the plate for a 22 year old kid. He brings a swagger to the team we lacked the last couple of years. Really fun to watch.

Sale-Rodon-Quintana could be a deadly 1-2-3 in the near future.

Add in Montas and maybe Carson Fulmer (I personally think he might end up in the pen but what the hell do I know) and you could have a great rotation very soon.

As good as Donaldson and Bautista are, I don't know if there's anything I enjoy watching as much as an Edwin Encarnacion homer.
