HBO's The Jinx via On Demand. So much easier/quicker watching a mini series/doc that way.

Shameless, Season 5 was just released on Vudu. It's good, some advancements...mostly more of the same.

Finished up Veep, and now trying out Netflix's 'Bloodline'.

Veep is pretty solid, but not great. I think Julia Louis-Dreyfus is doing well not acting like "Elaine". She's made the Veep her own character, and she's not very likable. Her assistant is played by Tony Hale, who is essentially resurrecting Buster from AD.

Still though, it's a moderately entertaining show, and if you are coming off an intense drama, it's a good change up before you get back into something heavier.

I thought the first season was ok, but the last two seasons of Veep have been excellent. I get your criticism about Tony Hale.

That is overall mild criticism of Tony Hale. His character has had some of the funniest moments of the show. A bunch of those funny moments are pretty subtle too, which I really like.

Having seen the 4 seasons, I'd give it a B so far, and I plan to continue watching. I like it, I just don't love it.

I don't know how much longer I can suffer through "The Last Ship". We were watching the most recent episode, and they are supposed to be in the waters off of New Orleans. They were on an oil rig, when the camera panned out to show the rig blowing up, there were gigantic mountains along the coast. Ugh.

I almost gave up on it after a few episodes, glad I didn't. Excellent show. Tony Hale is much better as Buster than Gary. Jonah makes this show for me.

Haha I don't think I made it 10 minutes into Hemlock Grove. Unbelievably awful.

Call me old school, but I'm not a huge fan of the Netflix put all the episodes up at one time model. Makes it really tough to talk about the season with friends and online because everyone is at different points in the season.

Season 2 is even better. It's too bad this likely won't get a third season.
