Or see them live.
I paid a good coin to see them at the Belly Up tavern in Aspen last winter. Very small bar. A handful of songs I began to love but they clicked for me after seeing them live. In a tiny bar.

So, thats something.
I wish I could see every band in a tiny bar.
High Violet didn't grab me initially, then I saw their album release gig at BAM... they work some magic over the listener while performing. I'm sure they'll do a handful of New York gigs for the next tour/album release, hopefully it isn't the Barclays again, but even if that's the only one you can attend: just do it.

A successful drive by shooting on Miley Cyrus sounds like the best possible outcome.
But then I'd have to hear one of our twelfth level hipsters (who listen to this shit unironically) go on about how brilliant she was, so I couldn't even fully enjoy it.

why aren't there more nonmetal songs about orcs and elves? We watch it in theatres all day long, but can you sing about it? noooooooooooooooo. Where are the songs about orcs that really tackle the hard issues?
I find it hard to enjoy older Flaming Lips material that I liked (i've hated their recent output) because Wayne Coyne's douchebaggery retro-stains it for me.
