I don't think I've ever heard a Kanye song either for that matter, apart from that relatively recent one where he and a naked Kim are riding on a motorbike in the film clip (and I have only the vaguest recollection of that).
God that video is just the worst.

I don't always agree with him but damn I respect the hell out of him for not being a jelly fish and being honest.

What's the appeal in going into a thread just to talk about how much you hate someone? I seriously don't get it.
I'm totally with you, my friend. I keep coming back into this thread because so many of my favorite posters are frequently represented in here and I want to know what they're saying/thinking. I had a small run way earlier in the thread where I just hated on Kanye and offered nothing productive to the conversation. But I've been avoiding that kind of thing. I don't know if I'll every like/appreciate Kanye's music but I do enjoy reading why you guys do.

Today's gonna be a good day. I'm sorry I don't have an appropriate Kanye quote to put here.

I'd say our musical palates are pretty similar. Kanye is pretty wonderful. Listen to My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.

I tried listening to that guy. I liked the first track. But I turned it off mid way through track two. Just wasn't feeling it. The production and the sound of the thing was gorgeous though.

Have you listened to "FourFiveSeconds" or "Lost in the World", Joey? I think you might dig those songs.

Lost in the World might be my fave Kanye song. Probably because I'm a huge Bon Iver guy.

I'll check those out today!

Like I said before, I really love Blood on the Leaves. But so far that's the only Kanye track that has really struck me so far.

"Lost in the World" is so glorious. My favorite on MBDTF next to Power and All of the Lights. MBDTF is just so wonderful, the only thing I really dislike is "Blame Game".
Yeezus is still growing on me with every listen. I'm starting to really love sampling. (Listened to Endtroducing for the first time for that reason and loved it)

I want Kanye to tour with Justin Vernon und Rihanna.

I like "Blame Game", but I can definitely see why someone wouldn't. And samples are quickly becoming my favorite instrument.

Yeah, the hook kinda annoys me and so does the skit. That's pretty much my only complaint about MBDTF, though.

Do you like instrumental Hip-Hop like DJ Shadow or J Dilla?

For sure. Endtroducing..... is one my favorite albums in the world. Lately I've been getting really into Vaporwave, which operates on a similar wavelength.

This is perfect.

I can drink and enjoy the Bon Iver/anything JV wants to do set.

Go get food and maybe throw up a little during Rihanna.

Then watch Kanye after I sober up.
