Got into PJ in late 95/early 96 so NO CODE will always have special significance to me. I remember hearing "Who You Are" on the radio for the first time and being slightly perplexed. Then I heard "Hail Hail" and it was all good. Can't say I was disappointed by it but looking back on that era I appreciate it a lot more now than I did then. It was really a genius move on the part of the band at that time.

I went on a road trip fall of 96. I forgot all of my CDs except for the one that was in my disc man (I'm old) which happened to be No Code. Such a great album.darthvedder81 wrote:Got into PJ in late 95/early 96 so NO CODE will always have special significance to me.
God I love No Code.

I'm pretty sure everyone on this board owned a discman.

I think I'm one of the youngest RMers, and even I had one. So yeah.

I still do most of my listening on a portable CD player (not a Discman specifically, but still).

No real reason in particular -- I usually keep a fair amount of music on my iPhone, but I like the freedom of being able to just grab a CD off the shelf and listen without having to rip the CD to the computer, sync my iTunes, etc. It's just the listening method I've always liked best.LoathedVermin72 wrote:Why's that?Kevin Davis wrote:I still do most of my listening on a portable CD player (not a Discman specifically, but still).
