I have been kinda obsessed with Go and Animal lately. Just super fun rock songs. This might be the best version of Go I have ever heard.Leatherhead wrote:So good. Everybody's just killing it.

It's not really a version of the song. It's a great performance of the same version.

Never sounded right with MC on the kit. No skip on the kick in the verses. Too tight, needs to be looser, messier, more manic.
- Spoiler: show

That is a great performance of it. This song is such a beast live, and I love when they open with it. I'm glad he's clean now but high Mike was the best Mike.LetMeSleep wrote:Never sounded right with MC on the kit. No skip on the kick in the verses. Too tight, needs to be looser, messier, more manic.

Re: Anyone know what show this version is from?
It's a beast of a song and I've always been in the Dave A camp for this song. But lately the 95 Jack versions have been doing it. Plus it was my first PJ live track, two days after the above clip. Man they were a band and a half then.

Look at Stone's head-boppin' during those performances.
You think Stone doesn't know Pearl Jam lost that groove? Oh, Stone knows. Stone knows.
