What.cd has a larger userbase and many, many more torrents. Taken together, those facts usually mean it's a lot tougher for a new torrenter to get a foothold at What; but if you know what you're doing and put the work in, it's possible to be a healthy contributor, even though many people have a 5-year head start. Also, What's interface is much better and easier to use.

Some stats:

Users
Waffles: 120,582
What: 157,768

Torrents
Waffles: 332,190
What: 1,558,956

Picked this because you might be personally interested:

24bit Vinyl Rips
Waffles: 894
What: 14,740

And just for kicks:

Pearl Jam Torrents
Waffles: 513
What: 2,042

Agreed. I log into Waffles every so often just because, but then I nearly instantly remember why I never do.

Anyone have any suggestions for Demon replacements (tv, movies, apps, etc)?

Movies are popping up ridiculously quick on public trackers, kat.ph \ 1337x.org \ h33t.com as well as TV (add eztv.it here), if you are looking for a legit (heh) TV site that is account based TvTorrents.com is great but invite only; apps I have zero clue about the safety of public trackers; etc. h33t does pretty well on the comic front. There is an invite only eBook tracker out there but I am not a member.
