So you like it? I've seen that you were playing it. I'm a huge fan of the Metal Gear series and plan to get this in a few weeks when I'm not broke.Monkey_Driven wrote:Just a few missions in and I'm loving how open ended the gameplay is. Once you get past the prologue it is pretty much gameplay, resource collection/management, and mission selection.bada wrote:I heard the new Metal Gear really dialed back on the cut scenes....that true?

Me too. The gameplay is top notch, but the game gets old pretty quickly if you don't have a consistent group to play with.LoathedVermin72 wrote:I gave up on that one quickly.jwfocker wrote:Picked up Destiny. The grind is real.

Last night I shot a bear with a tranquilizer gun and sent it away with a parachute. It now lives at my base with my puppy and two goats I caught.

Yeah, MGS V is great so far. Open world games seem a dime a dozen here, but the stealth gameplay is super satisfying and the Fulton recovery system (the balloon thing) is the best thing ever.

I can't wait to get a powerful enough parachute to take jeeps, tanks, and other shit to my base.LoathedVermin72 wrote:i think you just sold me on this gameMonkey_Driven wrote:Last night I shot a bear with a tranquilizer gun and sent it away with a parachute. It's actually kind of awesome to know that I have to send it back to you, because it's pushing me to play through it. My laziness needs a kick in the ass.E.H. Ruddock wrote:Guys, don't distract LV right now. He's just started Ocarina of Time.

I've only played through the Ocarina of Time fully once.
