Haha it really is. They waste no time reminding you that this series just bonkers.
Just a few missions in and I'm loving how open ended the gameplay is. I can't wait to get more gear and equipment.
So is this Grand Theft Metal Gear?

So you like it? I've seen that you were playing it. I'm a huge fan of the Metal Gear series and plan to get this in a few weeks when I'm not broke.

Once you get past the prologue it is pretty much gameplay, resource collection/management, and mission selection.

Me too. The gameplay is top notch, but the game gets old pretty quickly if you don't have a consistent group to play with.

Last night I shot a bear with a tranquilizer gun and sent it away with a parachute. It now lives at my base with my puppy and two goats I caught.

Yeah, MGS V is great so far. Open world games seem a dime a dozen here, but the stealth gameplay is super satisfying and the Fulton recovery system (the balloon thing) is the best thing ever.

I can't wait to get a powerful enough parachute to take jeeps, tanks, and other shit to my base.

It's actually kind of awesome to know that I have to send it back to you, because it's pushing me to play through it. My laziness needs a kick in the ass.
