Hard to pick just one year, but I love everything they did between 94-96.

Late March / Early April 94 is unbeatable. July 2003 is excellent too.cutuphalfdead wrote:I'll give you their peak month. March of 1998.

If you're going with 03 you've got to go with April.CopperTom wrote:Late March / Early April 94 is unbeatable. July 2003 is excellent too.cutuphalfdead wrote:I'll give you their peak month. March of 1998.

Denver and Uniondale took place in April. Buffalo and State College did not.cutuphalfdead wrote:If you're going with 03 you've got to go with April.CopperTom wrote:Late March / Early April 94 is unbeatable. Surprised to see so many people listing '03. It was a good tour but in my eyes clearly not a career peak.

The band can have multiple peaks (and troughs). The most compelling question is when their final peak - creative, live, whatever - occurred, because that's when the diminishing returns begin.

Re: ITT We Nominate Pearl Jam's Peak Year
Final live peak was Europe/Pacific 2006. Arguably it carried over to 2007, but too hard to make that call without official boots. Diminishing returns est. 2008.zeb wrote:The band can have multiple peaks (and troughs).
