you have been warned..

Spoiler: show
And Spoiler: If rumours are to be believed the final scene from The Force Awakens was shot on Skellig Michael. It's where Luke had been hiding out. Presumably this location features again in Episode 8
Spoiler: show
: If that is the final scene, is it possible that Luke isn't seen until the end of the movie? It'd be strange considering that one of the first shots in the trailer is of him and R2, but could he be a Yoda-like character in this?
Spoiler: show
I believe he only features in the final scene of the film when

BIG SPOILER

Rey finds hims and gives him back his lightsaber

This means this must be this!
But in this instance hard to debate

And it makes perfect cinematic sense so it's probably true.

What is it? Im cool in learning. its all about how it is told in the movie anyway.

I hope the old characters (luke, han, leia) make an appearance just to connect the films and then they die off. I don't want old characters running around in all three movies.

If you casually watch the movies, on the surface, it's the story about how two droids (seemingly in love with eachother) meet up with a bunch of nice people to help save the galaxy from an evil bastard child and his creepy uncle.

I don't really want to know HOW MUCH they'll be in the movies, but if there was one that I want to see more of it's definitely Luke. I got all Mathew McCaughney-like when I saw this image in the trailer.....

Yea i definitely want luke. I fell in love with Star Wars due to luke and all the jedi mythology stuff. Lightsabers, the force, lightsabers... I want to see Luke be old and wise and a badass.

Spoiler: show
A. By "last shot," could they mean "last thing filmed?" Therefore offering nothing of significance?
B. Could the whole crew end up in hiding, back at Luke's pad, after a terrible resurgence of evil?
C. Was Luke in a particular place because he found something there he knew must not be found, and is now scared that it is revealed, so they end up back there?
D. Maybe he forgot his saline solution?
E. Probably Kirk just beams from the ice planet to a starship traveling at insane speeds, countless miles away, using a technogy that will never be visited again, because plot lol.
