When a band is but a fraction of Pearl Jam, but they aren't zero Pearl Jam.

There's nothing "Folk" about "I Need Something Different" or "Moonlander."

This is not the kind of heat I enjoy. This is genre-defining heat.

This isn't heat, this is just B not knowing what the hell he's talking about.

this was great

first few times i heard "your flame" it kinda reminded me of a country song. although i think this was around the time stone was playing hank williams songs so maybe thats why it reminds me of a country song.

Yes, yes there is.
Well, I crafted the post to look like EJ's post. There is something rock there, but those are not rock songs. And as it stands, they're the majority of songs released for this album.

I don't say it in a disparaging way, but so far, this is not a rock album. At the very least, it's a mix of several genres.

Go read the wikipedia article on rock music.

I'll take wikipedia's word on rock music the same day I take your word on the quality of Riot Act.

Doesn't the use of an oboe in Both Live automatically rule it out of being a rock song?

Yeah, because wind instruments have never been used in rock songs before.
