I am so sick of hearing about JJ Watt. Saw this today:

JJ Watt Quiets Rumors That He's Struggling with Being Single
Breaking news, everyone: The NFL’s reigning Defensive Player of the Year, and one of the most popular players in the country’s most popular league, is doing “alright.”
In a recent profile on NFL.com, Houston Texans superstar J.J. Watt tackled a bunch of topics, the juiciest of which was his dating life.
"People think that I've never dated before, or whatever," he said, per NFL.com’s Michael Silver. "But I'm trying. I'm trying. I'm just unsuccessful. My schedule's so crazy and life's so busy, it just hasn't worked."
Watt went on to discuss how he pictures life after his playing days are done and explained why he hasn’t met his ideal match—yet:
See, like, when I picture myself after football, it's down home, coaching high school football, just a relaxing, normal life. And the problem with that is, I still have this life now. So you can't have somebody that's just gonna be OK in that life, 'cause you have to deal with all this craziness right now. So it'd have to be somebody that's OK with the craziness now, but also is gonna be perfectly fine sitting on the couch watching a movie on a Friday night, having a bonfire on a Saturday night, not doing anything. And that's hard to find.
No. 99 took to social media to shut down the rumors he’s struggling in the dating game, though.
When Watt takes the field in Week 2 for the 0-1 Texans, his mind will probably be all football.
Because for now, his love life comes second

I love you too, buddy. Good game. Broncos showed why they continually win the west. And you just can't turn the ball over 5 times and expect to win. All things considered, really, it probably should have been much worse for my squad.
Markus Peters is a fucking badass, though. #22. The double-deuce. We have officially nicknamed him "Roadhouse."

Re: 2015 NFL Season
I had this one marked as a loss since the schedule came out. Obviously, I was hoping to get at least one win against the Broncos this season. I'm pretty sure that's not gonna happen now. That was the one. Oh well. I expect we'll lose another close one on Monday.
I was glad to see the Chiefs D running full speed until the end. That's so encouraging.

I just hate that the Chiefs can't seem to get over the hump. If feels like they are perennially on the verge of becoming great, or even dominant, but they never quite get there. Their roster is always full of talent, they typically have had good coaching, and yet year after year they come up short against the Broncos and Chargers of the world.
I may be overreacting.

They've been cursed since that horrific playoff loss to the Colts a few years ago.

Re: 2015 NFL Season
Yeah, this is only one game. The offense made a lot of mistakes. Alex looked overwhelmed. He doesn't usually turn the ball over and he threw two picks (though credit that second one to the Denver D disrupting his throwing motion). It was a game a lot of fans expected to lose. Most people had this one checked as a loss for the Chiefs.Kaius wrote:I just hate that the Chiefs can't seem to get over the hump. Then Denver looked lackluster in their opener and everyone's trying to force this "Peyton Manning is DONE!" narrative down everyone's throats. He's still Peyton fucking Manning.
But at the end of the day, the Chiefs committed 5 turnovers and still managed to hold the lead for most of the game AND we only lost by one touchdown. At the very end of the game. Reid probably should have just called for a kneel down. But on the other hand, with 42 seconds left and a slim, final, outside shot at taking the game away, I still want the ball in the hands of my best player. It sucks that he fumbled. But I'm not as angry at Charles as I am at the way the game was called by Reid & Co.
So, yeah, let's not overreact. It's one game. A game we were in until the very end despite some terrible play calling and 5 goddamn turnovers.
Just like Manning fans didn't need to jump ship after the Baltimore game, I hope Chiefs fans aren't jumping ship now. We got a long season ahead of us.

Oh man, we've been cursed since that horrific playoff loss in 1994 when the Bills killed Joe Montana.

It was cool to hear them talk about Christian Okoye last night. Loved that guy.
