It's true. You're all bitching about having to bounce up some music blocks like you've never played world 5 of mario 3 before.
No. I don't have fun playing levels where you start by wall jumping and then drop blindly into Goomba's, Koopa's, and cannon balls. That's the kind of stuff I'm talking about. Also, hard sections are cool (and so are hard levels) but when you have levels that have been uploaded for a couple of days that literally NO ONE has passed, it's probably too hard and frustrating for most people. They (I) just move on and play something more to their (my) skill and enjoyment levels.

Don't get me wrong chud. I have enjoyed trying to pass some of the stuff you've made. I just wanted to give you my personal feedback. Do with it what you may.

Yes chud. Having a consistent "clear rate" of under 8% should be a badge of honor.
I'm going for beatable levels that would show up under the expert setting of the 100 Mario Challenge. So yeah, I'm aiming for well under 10%.
Then you are being successful at accomplishing your stated goal. Nothing wrong with that, just out my fun zone.

Oh yeah that one that starts with the wall jump is just stupid. It's probably next in line for deletion. Also airship u because the secret block isn't obvious enough.

I still think ice and fire and spooky chud are fantastic levels though. They're hard but not full of bullshit like in some of my earlier levels.

I mean, when I'm playing Mario if I play a bunch of levels that I can beat in 3 or 4 tries over and over again I look for something that's going to be a bigger challenge, even if it means getting frustrated and put it down for a while. CopperTom has a couple of levels that are approaching that.

I'm basically just upset because monkeydriven vowed to beat a chud of ice and fire and hasn't done it yet.

I mean, Skitch pretty much told me I should be ashamed of my challenging levels. That jerk.

Not at all. But dont just act like "be better at" is the answer. Im agreeing with phatj that these levels just aren't that much fun to play. And lets not act like Chud of Ice and Fire doesn't include bullshit. Most notably, the bowser jumping that can freeze you on the falling donuts,
Spoiler: show
and the row off falling donuts you have to let yourself fall down (immediately after needing to jump quickly on those previous.)
And In this level, as far as Ive made it, there are no fewer than 4 (that ive seen so far) places that require you to traverse upwards through single blocks with enough enemies to kill you should you fall down more than once. So no question it is a well constructed level and you put a lot of time and thought into it. It's just not... fun for me.

If you get the leaf you can fly up the single ice block room.

Also, you can kill that bowser with the thwomp blocks before you get to the falling donut section.

Also, when you fall straight down into the donut box that's not really that big of a deal, you ride the donut down and you go slowly enough that nothing catches you off guard.

Admittedly that only gets you the first time through, but the strong implication there is that you have to jump off the edge.

These are all things I know. But are a pain to try and execute each time you go through before you get to the next section to figure out. Section after section that needs that much execution just stops being fun. Like surviving with the leaf through the fire fish room, chain chomp and falling spikeys. and then Hoping a fireball doesnt hit you on the way up.

If I hated you, you wouldn't get preemptive stars, no matter how bullshit the level.

Ok. So you've played and passed my levels. Thoughts? Too hard/easy? Favorite level?
