Not bad, I'm home today with a splitting headache, but otherwise things are going fine.

I'm still enjoying the new job (as much as that is possible, I guess). There is something very relaxing about painting. It can be a little tedious (especially the fucking scraping) but overall it's great.

How have you been, Ruddo? Enjoying season 3 of Hannibal?

Yeah, the first 3 or 4 episodes were a little difficult, but it has really picked up. I'd say the last 4 or 5 episodes have been easily as good as season 2.

How satisfying was that beating that Jack handed out?

The State's case, the police investigation and even, it appears, Serial were all riddled with errors and/or laziness and/or agenda. It's kind of mind blowing.
My only problem with Undisclosed is that I feel like if they found the smoking gun that showed Adnan did it, they'd bury it

You have to remember too, Serial was more about telling a story than it was meant to be an exhaustive recap of the case and all of its twists and turns...the guys from Undisclosed have said as much

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

I just started pistol shrimps radio. Basically, it's Matt gourley and someone else doing live commentary for the funny or die women's basketball team. It's very funny.

"Limetown" is pretty interesting. I have a feeling that after a few interesting episodes it's going to spiral out of control and become silly, but I'm along for the ride.

Also, the drama going on with the Grantland NFL Podcast is the most podcasty and the most ESPNy thing that has ever happened.

I'm trying to quit podcasts. It's tough when I can listen to them all day at work. Been really turned off by Rogan & Maron of late. I do want to hear the Maron episode with Lorne Michaels that is upcoming.

Why quit them if you enjoy listening to them?
