Colbert's sound guy must be a lot better than Conan's was. The last time they played a hard one it sounded a lot worse.

I haven't found ritfw yet, but that was an excellent mind your manners. Probably the best live version I've heard, and just a great performance all around

Ritfw was really good too. I wonder how Jeff feels about Colbert muscling in on the lean...

Colbert RitFW will be better than the likely Bono GCF RitFW.

That was definitely better than expected. Wish they had picked something other than MYM, but the performance was pretty good. RITFW was fun as always.

funny, and awkward...stone had plenty of time for a witty come back, he just smiled and clapped.

Yeah I really wish he had a response. Good overall interview too.

Anyway, though not a big fan of the song, MYM sounded really good. Kudos to the sound guy. Some heft there that always seems to elude them in these shows. Haven't heard Rockin yet.

edit: just watched Rockin. Wow, that really was great. Again this was about as good as you can mix this band on a show.
