I think it's awesome that pretty much every track is someone's favourite. It just speaks to the quality and diversity of this very compact piece of work.

Mine is I Appear Missing. It's fucking killer.

kalopsia is just so ethereal and dreamy and big and filthy and raw and sprawling and epic

music this good only reminds me what an insipid band pearl jam has evolved into

There's a real danger to this new album euphoria that I'm feeling, having waited so long for it to come along, but I really feel like this could be considered a new high water mark for Queens of the Stone Age.

It's like they've taken all the best things they've done in the past for a nice run out of their comfort zone.

Styles are evolving.

This doesn't touch Era Vulgaris.

Like Clockwork

Everyone it seems
Has somewhere to go
And how fast the world spins (?)
Shorter the lights will glow

And I'm swimming in the night
Chasing down the moon

The deeper in the water
More I long for you

The most of what you see my dear, is purely for show
because not everything that goes around, comes back around, you know

Holding on to longest, just fear of letting go
because not everything that goes around, comes back around, you know

One thing that is clear, its all downhill from here on...

The love note in your hand, cleverly disguised (?)
Other promises of stone, crumble in the night

The most of what you see my dear, is what letting go
because not everything that goes around, comes back around, you know

Holding on to longest, just fear of what to show
because not everything that goes around, comes back around, you know
Not everything that goes around, comes back around, you know

One thing that is clear, its all downhill from here on...

(?) = Not sure if right

Everyone on various different forums seem to be having a collective orgasm about this record.

In my experience that usually means the record will get real old real fast. Those ones never stand up to time.

I haven't heard this album yet, but I don't buy that argument at all.

New here? Go to the old board and look at the first twenty or so pages of each of the last three PJ releases.
