I always thought it was the perpetually unemployed guy who smokes heaps of weed that was always the latest to rehearsals.

Never been in a band with that guy. It's always been the singer but then the guitarist in my instrumental band.

Cheers guys. Yeah that tune came together really well. Initially instrumental but it works both ways.
I think it's a PRS through a celestion/Marshall box. Not sure about the descending line. Maybe a tele thru a vox (I wasn't at those sessions)

Here's a short film I worked on in the late 90s. It won a few awards and I was up for an award for best music at the prestigious Brisbane Film Festival. Well it was mainly Arvo Part's music with Depeche Mode but I did the incidental stuff plus another version with our music over the credits (something to do with rights from DMode). From memory we lost to either Nick Cave or Tex Perkins. We were fine with that.

Plus I recorded the voice over parts and did the music editing.

Here's another one from the same director as Boy. I worked solely on the audio for this, mainly doing foley work and cutting/syncing sound effects. Every goddam footstep. And this was in the early days of non-linear editing with no screen based system. Just SMPTE.

Of course he is.

People kept asking for Pixies' covers and as much as he likes them (quite a lot) it got annoying.

He was timid at first being front and centre. It helped him become an artist.
