Not airing all songs and censorship are not one and the same. Ed did swear more than all other performers combined.

The mini encore break was unnecessary and kinda lame.

He was able to bring my friend and I back for some vip free food and drinks and just seiin any star imaginable in the behind the stage area, I got some photos with Matt, Boom and Mike. Met jeff briefly, he didn't seem like he was having any fun. Saw ed and stone, but each time they were with there famlies and I didn;t want to be THAT guy. The pearl jam entourage is like 50-60 deep. Ed's wife really enjoys being well Ed's wife I guess. Hell of a night, sound in the front was quite good. Too bad they got cut short due to delays.
Good for you mate, that's awesome :nice:

One little detail about imagine. It was a full band version, not just ed.

Jeez that sucks, those last 3 were major highlights, why would they cut Imagine? It was perfect for the venue. And RITFW was the big finish with everyone on stage that had Bill Nye fanning the guitars and jumping around the entire time.
I wouldn't want to see any of that.

Musicians bringing non-musical celebrities on stage just to cause a spectacle is becoming one of my pet peeves, and I fear that Pearl Jam (what with Dennis Rodman and all) may be pioneers in the field.
I dunno why anybody WOULDNT want to see Eddie Vedder sing Imagine but whatever.
I've seen it twice, actually. It was dreadful both times.

let's rank who will quit first

stone - seems to have one foot out the door already
jeff - has made comments about the toll of being in pearl jam, is generally grumpy
ed - there is no pearl jam without him, and obviously has the most successful solo career/potential
matt - soundgarden now beckons, and he'd leave if ed left
mike - will never give up on pearl jam

Where can one watch this online? I didn't stay up until 2am to catch the set, and the Youtube link is no longer showing it.

hmm, that can't be the full set, but it's a start. you may have to piece together with other youtube clips, which appear to be out there.

I forgot all about this.

I'd watch the YouTube clips, but I'm not sure it's worth the risk of accidentally hearing Imagine.
