Season 2 is even better. It's too bad this likely won't get a third season.
best show on TV right now. I really hope there is a third season, even if that's all we get.

I didn't like it. I heard the second season is better, but those first few episodes veer into unintentional comedy. That dude's scars? lol. What a ridiculous show.

The actors are great though.

I agree.
The pacing was much better in Season 2 and the characters were more engaging. I feel like the show's best days are ahead, so yeah, it'd be a shame to lose it now.

The pilot for The Man In The High Castle on Amazon Prime. This is quite good. I will definitely be tuning in when this series starts.

Trying to get into Dr. Who, but its really a shit show. Watching the first season, one episode was nice, but the rest range from bleh to horrible.

Oh cool! The book was great, and offered a small story in a large world. In the right hands, this good be a fantastic series.
I'm gonna watch this tonight. I really want it to be good.

Veep is pretty solid, but not great. I think Julia Louis-Dreyfus is doing well not acting like "Elaine". She's made the Veep her own character, and she's not very likable. Her assistant is played by Tony Hale, who is essentially resurrecting Buster from AD.

Still though, it's a moderately entertaining show, and if you are coming off an intense drama, it's a good change up before you get back into something heavier.
I thought the first season was ok, but the last two seasons of Veep have been excellent. I get your criticism about Tony Hale.
I almost gave up on it after a few episodes, glad I didn't. Excellent show. Tony Hale is much better as Buster than Gary. Jonah makes this show for me.
He's such a dick. Love him!

Alright RM, what show should me and the Mrs. get into?

We are all caught up on / have seen the entire series of the following:

Game Of Thrones
Sopranos
The Wire
Dexter
Veep
Bloodline
Lost
24
X-Files
Entourage
Homeland
American Horror Story

I am mildly entertained by a few ABC sitcoms like the Goldbergs and Modern Family, but both are pretty cheesy at the same time.

Anyway, I'm not sure what to get into next. I don't really feel like watching "House of Cards" even though many seem to like it. What else can I watch RM?

Loving Ray Donovan.

Maybe a little to close to a lot of themes/story arcs/reprehensible immoral characters to sopranos for some but I'm loving it

Forgot to mention, I'm caught up with Orange Is The New Black.

Thanks for the other suggestions.

Anyone seen "Black Mirror"? I hear mixed reviews, but it sounds like something I may like.

Does anyone watch any network shows? I record: Brooklyn 99, Modern Family, The Goldbergs, but those are the only three (I think).

For cable, I'll watch some Comedy Central, History, faux Reality, News, and Sports, but mainly just flip through the channels.

Brooklyn Nine Nine, Hannibal, The Blacklist are the only network shows I watch.

"Black Mirror" is definitely worth watching and as of right now, it's not much of a commitment because there are only 7 episodes. Season 1 is better than Season 2.
