I was miserable the whole time, but it was excellently shot. Worth seeing for sure.durdencommatyler wrote:Can't wait to hear your report. It's frustratingly mediocre.

Kinda my takeaway. The concept is really cool, but they didn't quite execute it fully.LoathedVermin72 wrote:It's frustratingly mediocre.

I hadn't planned on it since I rarely venture into Chicago. I've only seen Vagabond, which I liked. Any recommendations on which of hers to view next?Malloy wrote:lv, are you going to see any of the agnes varda stuff while she's here?

I liked it. I liked that there were no answers or real depth to the story. The movie kind of starts in the middle and ends before the story is finished. A little frustrating but refreshing in a sense.
Although, a weird PSA on Abstinence though maybe. The end scene at the pool was completely pointless.

Re: What movies are you watching?
Just thinking about it gets me a little irritated. It's so undercooked. It's like the the guy thought of a hooky concept but never bothered to think its practicality or themes through to a point of coherence or insight. Argh. Laziness. It has some good ideas but it should have been so much better.Strat wrote:Dev wrote:and?Strat wrote:Oh, I watched it follows last night
