Was at The Strand with my dad last week. He'd never been before and I thought he'd enjoy it. And I had no idea this baby was even a thing...

But it was on the shelf and so OF COURSE I grabbed it. And I'm reading it now. It's glorious!

We agree on most books that we've both read. The only ones we don't agree on are classics that I didn't enjoy (On the Road, Breakfast of Champions, Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance).

I've read the book and seen the movie On The Road, and I finished both in a clueless stupor.

I'm the opposite...i had always been a pretty consistent reader up until the last few years...i really need to get back into it, but my attention span is awful right now

He's a pretty easy read. I'd go with Breakfast of Champions or Slaughterhouse Five as a first read.

I'd rather read than do anything else these days. Movies, TV, work... I'm pretty much thinking about whatever book I'm reading (or whatever I'm writing) during any other activity.
