That is no bar I would ever want to visit
It's not a terrible bar, they just make us play darts in the back room.
that is dart-shaming, pete
Each team gets a free order of wings, so there's that.
so, 12 wings for how many people?
Most of the team are a bunch of pussies afraid of a little heat so if we get anything with a little kick to it only three of us eat them.
Also, I'll order dinner too so it's not like I need all the wings to myself.
I'm just saying, it isn't like they are going out of their way to do anything special for you guys. 12 wings for a bunch of baz's
They don't have to do it though. Every bar is obliged to give a free round to to each team at half time. Some bars also throw in some food. Ours doesn't, which makes it awkward when we order a pizza for ourselves and the other team doesn't get any.
I remember when the last time the Bruins played the Maple Leafs in a playoff series. My brother called me the morning of game 7 and said he had tickets, but they were about $150 for balcony seats. I almost didn't buy one, thinking it was a bit steep and by that point in the series the Bruins looked like they couldn't hang. Instead, I said fuck it and went and now that money is meaningless.
Man, I could have had tickets to that game that morning but I was so bullshit that a game 7 was even happening that I didn't do it .

I dont hate the Royals, I just hate hearing Brewers fans complain about all the ex Brewers on the team (its 2 players and 2 coaches guys, get over it, id make that Greinke trade again anyday)
I love playoff baseball. NOTHING beats it. I was at game 5 when the Crew knocked off the D-Backs, will NEVER forget that moment. If I dropped $200 for PJ tickets, id easily drop more than that for World Series
speaking of the game 5 winning hit, doesnt baseball have some sort of rule about half the dug out being on the field before the winning run even scores with a play at the plate?
This is what one of the Jays main analysts had to say about last night's game:
Ugh. It's kind of embarrassing that the team wants him to be associated with them.
