I've been a Live guy since Lakers V Celtics you guys are making it hard to not jump to 2K.

2K has been the superior game for quite some time now if you are looking for a realistic bball game. There is a pretty sharp learning curve though. Lots of buttons and moves to remember. Once you get past it though it is is beautiful basketball.

The last B-Ball game I bought was Live 2008 after years of buying them every year. I just updated the rosters myself and created players for years and years. Need a Next Gen one now.

I just got 16 and I love it.

I got it today. So far it's really good and I couldn't disagree more with the complaints I've seen online.

Holy crap I take it back. I totally get why people are bitching. The opening game was great (I guess its a demo) but now that I'm further in it's really hard. I'm sure some of it is cause I'm playing with Villa but the computer steals everything but I can't get the ball from them. I can be a good 15 yards ahead of a defender and they catch up to me but that doesn't happen when they have the ball. I have to pass 15 times just to get it into their half but they just race by me. It's pretty frustrating. I've scored once in 5 games.

yeah i think i'll give it a go. i've been on the fence about whether i want to buy another MMO shooter, so this might help make my decision.

Yeah I kinda had to admit to myself that I stink and need to learn how to play and went to a lower difficulty level.

I may have played the Witcher more than any game I've ever played. I completed all side quests and contracts. Some treasure hunts. At the ending between cut scenes, I die and don't get to finish. A shitty thud to a great game. I haven't read that anyone else experienced this glitch.

the lack of single player story mode is kind of why i've been on the fence. I logged into the playstation store and set the beta to download so i'll have it all ready to go by the time i get home from work. We will have to connect at some point this weekend.

It just looks amazing. But it has reinforced how I feel about online shooters, which is that I find them frustrating more often than enjoyable. Which probably has more to do with my skill level in shooters than anything else, but ultimately I just find I get frustrated after playing for an hour or two. I think I will buy this at some point when it goes way down in price so i can play the offline mode, but I doubt I will drop $80 for it in November.

It is now. Used to be the same price as the U.S but they raised the price earlier this year.
