Picked up the two new Stars Of The Lid re-issues today at the store. Can't wait to spin these.

These two came today; old albums, but pressed on wax for the first time:

Gave myself an early birthday present (a $40 at the record store) and was happy with the results. Got the RNDM record for $3.99 and an old favorite--Alexi Murdoch's Towards the Sun--which I wasn't even aware was on vinyl, plus a Sharon van Etten and a Peter Bjorn and John. Fun times!

Barnes and Noble 20% off coupon that's valid for vinyl (ends 10/13) if anyone is interested. Last time I stopped in they had a decent selection of new release vinyl. Could be worth it if you live nearby a store... i doubt it's worth it if you got something shipped

Listening to the RNDM LP was the first time I've ever gone through it, and I think it sounded great. Super high-quality package too--heavy stock jacket, picture sleeves, the works.
