I was only able to catch it on the radio, but from everything I heard, the Leafs were probably the better team.

Either way, both teams probably got the result that serves their current goals the best. So yay!

Pleasantly surprised by the Canucks last night...they played exceptionally well, and I loved the amount of new blood in the lineup.

But goddamn Luca Sbisa frigging sucks...he has all the physical tools to be a good top 4 defenseman but zero hockey sense/awareness. The Flames got their only goal off of a turnover of his, and had 2-3 other excellent chances from him giving the puck away near his own net. Awful.

It will take a bitter 7-game playoff series before I hate the Wings but it's clear they are one of the teams to beat in the Atlantic div along with he Habs and Bolts. The Sens might be in the mix somewhere with the Panthers but those are young teams that could go either way.

What do we make of the Sabres then?
