Re: The Beautiful Game (The All Inclusive Soccer Thread)
So Rooney turns in his transfer request as Fergie steps down. I can totally see him on Man City next year, but word is he wants to play for Chelsea. Its going to be interesting to see how Man U does with a new manager. Moyes is top notch but part of me thinks Fergie is stepping down now because he sees the aging portions of the roster and knows staying on top isn't going to be easy.

Well I for one would like to see Man Utd not exactly struggle over the next decade but to have some tougher seasons. It's mainly because most Utd fans I know have never really had to deal with any barren times. Just like Australian cricket fans since the 90s have very little to complain, hell even worry about, now they have an average team and are having to reign in those unrealistic expectations.verb_to_trust wrote:So Rooney turns in his transfer request as Fergie steps down. We'll slip up at Newcastle and Tottenham will beat Sunderland.
So basically, Johnson and May spent Trump's presidency fighting each other over how best to sell the NHS to Trump.

Newcastle's manager openly stated he doesn't give a shit about the Arsenal game. The real test for the Gunners comes tomorrow against a desperate (and in form) Wigan team. I'd like to see Tott sneak in just so Dempsey (who had a great game Sunday) gets his wish of Champions League football (though he may be sold and if not would be a bit player next season).

I think Moyes is a really good replacement for Fergie, but Moyes needs to be given the same carte blanche to do whatever the fuck he wants to whoever the fucks he wants that Fergie had.

I work with a Newcastle fan who wants Wigan to win both matches and Sunderland lose to Spurs thus be relegated. As a Villa fan I just want this over with. Go the Gooners.tommymctom wrote:God I hope so.Let's all laugh at Rangers wrote:We'll slip up at Newcastle and Tottenham will beat Sunderland.

Arsenal acting like they won something:

Now that Spurs have narrowly missed out on CL football, do we want to start a poll on which oil backed club comes calling first? Modric went for 40 mil last season, so that would probably put Bale around 60 mil.

I think Bale will stay for one more season and then move to Madrid.

Giggs is still playing....and probably still banging his brother's wife too. Hes at the end of the road though. United has some age to them, I think Sir Alex knew what he was doing stepping down. Rooney also wants to jump ship. This is going to be as good as it gets for the next few years unless they throw monopoly money at a Bale type player.

Sad to see Carragher retire, wish he could have gone out with a better Liverpool squad.

So what happened to the Tottenham fans at the end then? Were they operation tangoed?

that was an awesome match, it was so nice to not have Inter or Barca like teams involved and watch two teams actually play.

Re: The Beautiful Game (The All Inclusive Soccer Thread)
So Lewandowski and Gotze are both moving to Bayern next year after their old team just played them in the Champion's League final? I'm all for players seeking out a big transfer and moving up the ladder but this is doesn't really help the game.
I also was thinking yesterday that the whole Neymar thing at Barca could flop.....
