Hearing lots of good things about Knock Knock. Tempted to watch it even though I almost never pay for on demand movies.

Yeah, I saw you weren't a fan. We'll see; Roth can go either way for me. But both Armond White and Bret Easton Ellis loved it, which is a pretty big recommendation to me. That said, I certainly disagree with both of them regularly, so I dunno.VinylGuy wrote:It was pretty stupid really.LoathedVermin72 wrote:Hearing lots of good things about Knock Knock. The Dark Horse -
Possibly Cliff Curtis' best performance. Certainly better then what he gave in Fear The Walking Dead

Re: What movies are you watching?
Last 7:
-What We Do in the Shadows (2014)
(Funny, but wears out its welcome quickly. Would have been better-served as either a short film or a TV series.)
-Ghostwatch (1992)
(Really interesting early "found footage" experiment. Was broadcast on BBC in the guise of a live investigative documentary about a haunted house. Sort of a TV version of Orson Welles's War of the Worlds, in a way. It's quite well-done and unsettling. And it's on YouTube in full, for those interested.)
-The Pyramid (2014)
lol wut
-Final Destination (2000)
-Pan (2015)
-The Ocean Waif (1916)
-Urban Legend (1998)
(Cool opening. The rest is meh. I tend to find slashers pretty dull.)

omg it's so bad, Ruddo. Exhaustingly annoying/stupid/repetitive characters. One of the characters repeated a variation of "I know you find all this historical stuff fascinating, but I don't see how that is going to help us get out of here!" like 50 times. All the monsters are created through really bad CGI (which they seemingly proudly display in extended close-ups). And - get this - the monsters areE.H. Ruddock wrote:Tell me more about the Pyramid

Also, your beloved "Pan" got beat by Hotel Transylvania 2 in its 3rd week in theaters.
