Exactly. If Choo gets his bat out of the box and over the plate, it's interference. That's not what happened. This was just Martin fucking up the throw. Live ball, run scores.

I'm not arguing that that isn't the rule, I just feel like it shouldn't be. It's not like Martin threw it over the pitchers head.

What's the difference? The ball slipped out of his hand and inadvertently went in a direction he didn't want it to go. Ball shouldn't be dead or live depending on which direction that is.
