I got Cubs and Royals in the WS with the Cubs winning it all at this point. Can't wait to go back and dig up that post I made about the Chitown douchemonsters that will come out of the woodwork for the cubs victory parade. If I remember right lament took a break from polishing Hawk Harrelson's balls to go all inferiority complex on me over that one.

I say the Jays win the series at home, so either four or five games.

Obviously I'm extremely biased, but even if I wasn't I would pick the Jays. They're just a better team.

I still can't believe how many people seem to hate him/the Jays for that kind of stuff. That's exactly the kind of thing the league should be encouraging.

I hate when players wear ski goggles during celebrations. Embrace the burn.

I hate how every series gets a champagne celebration. If you're a wild card team that wins the WS you'll end up with 5 celebrations...make the playoffs, champagne. Win the Wild Card game, champagne. Win the DS, champagne...for fuck sakes! Back in the day you celebrated when you made the playoffs and when you won the World Series.

Idiots in TO were celebrating like it was a championship (not that the city of Toronto would recognize a championship even if it came up and slapped them in the face). If the Jays go on to lose in 4 vs KC then the entire thing is nothing more than a slightly memorable game in history. It's no fucking Kirk Gibson here!

Ok, I'm done.

I thought that home run/bat flip was one of the greatest things I've ever seen.

I don't like the National League, but I don't have a rooting interest in any of the teams, and how can you not root for the Cubs? I'll tell you how, I'm rooting for the Blue Jays.

Yeah, the city of Toronto wouldn't recognize a championship, while the rest of the country has been putting out winning teams year after year, right?

You don't have to think it's Canada's team, but I think the average audience of 4.85 million people during Game 5 would disagree with you.

He's right about two things. Baseball celebrates way too fucking much. And if you guys lose to KC this doesn't mean shit.
