Re: What movies are you watching?
Yeah, a bunch of college kids got busted a while back because they were venmo-ing their dealer. The dealer got busted and the cops got his venmo info and were able to arrest a ton of kids for buying.Strat wrote:https://venmo.com/E.H. So, the lesson here is either don't venmo, or don't venmo your fucking dealer.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Kurt Sutter was not involved with Sicario. Perhaps you're thinking of Southpaw?tragabigzanda wrote:Anybody see Sicario yet? It's playing at the local cinema this weekend, I am on the fence. In any case, Sicario was very mediocre. Frustingly so, because the first 30 minutes are great.

Ah okay. That actually makes sense; Sicario's script was weak as hell.tragabigzanda wrote:Naw, some guy named Taylor Sheridan. I don't know SOA well enough to say for sure, but I think Sutter created it, and Sheridan wrote some eps.LoathedVermin72 wrote:Kurt Sutter was not involved with Sicario. At any rate, I'm leaning towards streaming something rather than ponying up for this one.
