Re: Bully
Tried listening to one of their songs yesterday - may have hit a dud. Wasn't my thing really. What's a good track to give a listen to?

Hate to beat a head horse, but the hype is thick with this band. I guess, I feel like theres a dozen or so other bands that are similar if not more interesting and more rockin, that don't get the New York Times/NPR coverage.
I loved their first single but haven't been really compelled to check out anything else. They seem like great people and from what I have heard are super nice and hard working. Let's see where it all goes.
I'm taking a wait and see approach to these grunge revivalists

I've mentioned Chastity Belt a number of times in response to "Bully" posts. These kids are of a similar vein and they are pretty damn great (without so much of the hype).super nintendo chalmers wrote:Hate to beat a head horse, but the hype is thick with this band. I'm about to see these guys in Portland, just waiting for shit to start. At Mississippi studios and bar bar, pretty awesome place.

Bully was in-fuckin-credible, I just wish their set was longer. There was(were?) two opening bands, first one was pretty good, second was okay, played too long though.VinylGuy wrote:How was it?Leatherhead wrote:I'm about to see these guys in Portland, just waiting for shit to start. I remember thinking this band had 'it' when I heard the EP version of Milkman last year.

My good friend's band opened for them on some midwest dates a few weeks ago. They had a great time and it sounded like some killer shows.
