Saw the Motley Crue/Alice Cooper show the other night (for free)
Whatever the fuck Alice Cooper is doing, can we get Eddie on that regimen? Dude is 67 and sounded positively amazing (and he was singing live). His voice was so damn strong. Such an entertaining show, and his band is spectacular. His latest female guitarist is pretty hot too.
Motley was Motley...Vince is like David Lee Roth...he was never a great singer, and now that he's old and is lazy as fuck, he sounds even worse...lots of pyro/fire/explosions to distract you from the fact that band is clearly going through the motions and can't stand each other...no Tommy Lee either, the dude from Alice Cooper's band filled in quite ably
Went strictly because of Alice and he did not disappoint...knew what I was getting with MC and frankly, they actually were a hair better than I expected. No one's going to see MC for the musicianship...it's strictly a nostalgia trip with pyro and big production, and for what it is/was, it was entertaining enough (especially for free).

Well, he hasn't smoked or drank since the 70's, and he's way into Jesus. I'm sure that helps.MattA75 wrote:Saw the Motley Crue/Alice Cooper show the other night (for free)

saw Modest Mouse a few weeks ago, my wife has seen them a bunch of times and was a bit disappointed with Isaac, said he was a mess but for a first time seeing them i thought it was a great show, i definitely hope to see them again.

I missed them last summer in Brooklyn and I'm still bummed about it.

I was lucky enough to go to the Kendrick Lamar ACL Live taping with a friend. Even though it was short, it was one of the best shows I've ever seen. Dude is a genius.
